Maid Brigade is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and one main heading per page
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and titles on embedded maps
- Labels on every form field, and forms that can be completed by keyboard alone
- Keyboard-navigable menus and visible focus states
- Color choices checked against WCAG AA contrast requirements
- Regular audits with automated tools (Lighthouse, axe) and manual keyboard testing
Known limitations
Some features of this site are provided by third parties — such as embedded maps and our online quote and chat tools. We test these embedded tools for keyboard access and screen-reader compatibility, but we do not control their code. If you have difficulty with any of them, contact us and we'll help you complete your request by phone or email.
